Couple Photography

Yes! None of the people you see in my portfolio are professional models, and many of them told me they were awkward or shy in front of the camera. It is really important to me to create an atmosphere where you can feel at ease and just be yourself. I strive to create real memories, or moments that you actually enjoyed - not just posed photos.

I always recommend wearing something you love and feel comfortable moving around in. If you feel stiff and dressed up, that might be visible in the pictures. I prefer dynamic prompts over static poses, so there is often some walking and dancing and maybe a little running around, so it is a good idea to wear comfortable shoes and be considerate of the ground we will be walking on - possibly some grass, or cobblestones, or gravel? - so it might be a good idea to avoid heels, or bring a second pair just in case!

Colours are wonderful, the only ones I wouldn't recommend are neon colours (as they can reflect onto your skin and cause strange hues) and large areas of small contrasty patterns like black and white stripes, as they cause a lot of visual noise.

I encourage my couples to embrace the weather. Dancing in the rain or running around it with arms outstretched, or sheltering one another with your jacket can make for madly romantic movie-ripe images. But, it can also be cold, so I always recommend brining a second dry outfit to change into afterwards, or at least a warm pullover. It might also be good to consider suitable outfits - why not add a waterproof coat and boots? I will bring a set of clear umbrellas to any session with rain in the forecast, which can also help.

If a storm or really heavy nonstop rain is forecast, I would say we should probably reschedule.

We will wait with a decision like this until the evening before, just in case the forecast changes, but if it is just going to be miserable outside, then it’s not really worth putting ourselves through that :)

Sometimes we can change the time to avoid the rain, but stick to the same day, or we might have to find a new date. If we agree on this together, we can transfer your booking deposit, but if it is an out-of-London session, I might have to charge you the travel cost again.

Nope. My editing is an essential part of my style and my art, and so I do not ever give out any unedited images.

I am based in London, and all prices you on my website are for within the Greater London area. I love travelling though, and am available all over the UK and Europe! I have photographed in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Germany, France, Italy and Spain already and would love to capture your memories, wherever else you are in Europe too :)

The short answer is no. I think that you are beautiful, just the way you are 🫶 I do not use photoshop or any other tool to edit the faces, bodies or outfits and backgrounds of the real moments that I capture - because then they wouldn't be real anymore!

I do remove small, distracting and temporary things like pimples, stains that happened on the day, cigarets on the ground (though I always try to "edit" in person, on location by removing any rubbish) or other small things like that. :)

I shoot all digital photos in colour, and then I edit everything in colour. After that, I go through and select images that will look stunning in black and white, and add a black and white edit to those. You will receive a colour version of any black and white edit I give you, so you can have both :)

The same does not go for film photos, as the physical film itself is either black and white or colour.
